Enable States and Victims to battle on line Intercourse Trafficking Act (FOSTA): Senate Passes Bill generating Online Platforms accountable for Third-Party information Enabling prohibited Sex-Trafficking

On March 21, 2018, The Senate Passed “FOSTA,” otherwise known since the “Allow States and Victims to Fight on the web Sex Trafficking Act.” H.R. 1865, 115th Cong. (2018). FOSTA produces an exception to area 230 for the Communications Decency Act (“CDA”), which supplies sites immunity for content published by 3rd events.
